This new layout is "rising from the ashes" of its predecessor, STROLEY CENTRAL.
The reason for the demise of the earlier layout is detailed on the main home page of my other site. Plenty of photographic action from five eras / areas along with full descriptions are available there.

The home for the new layout is a purpose built shed in the garden of our Cambridgeshire bungalow and was erected on 1st September and toned down to be easier on the eye and blend into the surroundings during late September 2008.
With the assistance of my wife, the walls were insulated and boarded out whilst baseboard building (which had started in July) continued in the garage rather than outside, due to the inclement weather of the summer of 2008!
The Layout Home The Personalised Clock
The shed is now referred to as "My Happy Place!"
The personalised clock, by the way was purchased from The BUFFER STOP SHOP. Simon's Company has plenty of excellent railway, model railway and personalised items available. Check out his site through the link above.
With the refurbished Control Panel now complete, this is me in my operating position.
