This new layout is "rising from the ashes" of its predecessor, STROLEY CENTRAL.

The reason for the demise of the earlier layout is detailed on the main home page of my other site. Plenty of photographic action from five eras / areas along with full descriptions are available there.

The home for the new layout is a purpose built shed in the garden of our Cambridgeshire bungalow and was erected on 1st September 2008 and toned down to be easier on the eye and blend into the surroundings later that month.

With the assistance of my wife, the walls were insulated and boarded out whilst baseboard building (which had started in July 2008) continued in the garage rather than outside, due to the inclement weather of that summer!
