This page represents a "staged" International Stock scene.

This series of photos show the current extent of my International Stock.

The International Stock features in all Era / Areas in Stroley World.

With the exception of the EUROSTAR set, which is a HORNBY item, all these sets and locos were

manufactured by MEHANO of  Slovenija and purchased in the early half of the 2000s

before that Company (allegedly) went bust.

Their website still looks operational, but I personally would not order anything from that site.

There is currently no UK importer for the Mehano range.

 In STROLEY WORLD ....

All passenger services operate from or through STROLEY INTERNATIONAL,

to these European cities amongst others within their country boundaries.

The THALYS unit operates to Brussels / Amsterdam / Oostende.

The ICE unit operates to Koln / Frankfurt / Hamburg / Berlin / Munchen.

The TGV Unit operates to Paris / Bordeaux, Marseille / Nice.

The EUROSTAR unit operates to Paris / Brussels / Avignon / Euro Disney.

The European locos operate International Freight services to (and through) the freight hubs

of Dollands Moor and Calais Frethun, and often continue to many European destinations.

One regular port-of-call for the International Freights destined for Spain is PORTLAND GROVE

near Murcia, on the Costa Blanca.

Two regulat "partnership" loads that pass between Stroley and Portland

are "Liquid Lemon Concentrate" for the Lindeven Lemon Company in Stroley

and the balancing load,

of which we (generally) have an abundance locally is from Stroley Water,

and does exactly what it says on the tin!!

This latter load assists with the irrigation of the orange groves in the Murcia region

during the summer months when temperatures regularly exceed 40C degrees in that area of Spain.

Both tank-tainers (seen here in the photos) were made by Andy, the owner / builder of his superb layout,

PORTLAND GROVE, and now regularly feature in many consists of the European freights

seen passing through STROLEY INTERNATIONAL.

Regular flows featuring the newest member of "The Partnership" will follow in due course

when negotiations are completed between

HILLSIDE MODEL RAILWAY, PORTLAND GROVE and STROLEY INTERNATIONAL.
